Umbrella Group of companies includes Umbrella Group, Umbrella Manufacturing and Umbrella Crane and Heavy haul.
Umbrella Group of companies is also partnered with Encore Electric, Endproc Engineering, and Magna Engineering to provide services in design & engineering services in structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines. At Umbrella Group of companies our mission is to take on all aspects of a project from start to finish and provide our clients with any needs they may require while maintaining scheduling and budgetary requirements.
Starting out in Northern British Columbia and the Yukon, the original company of the Group, Umbrella Group has since moved their main office down to Vancouver Island. We expand the company into multiple industrial sectors providing our clients with coverage in a variety of disciplines. We eventually added Umbrella Manufacturing, and Umbrella Crane and Heavy Haul. As of January 2021, we will officially be rebranding as Umbrella Group of Companies. Our Team at Umbrella Group has a vast variety of experience in a wide range of industries.

Our mission is to offer our customers the highest quality mechanical, welding, fabrication, electrical and crane and rigging services in Smelting, Mining, Oil and gas, Forestry and Marine industries. To Design, Engineer, fabricate, install, and maintain construction systems to the highest standard. As well, respond and resolve any breakdowns or problems quickly, safely, and cost-effectively to keep your production and projects running smoothly.
Within the Umbrella Group of Companies, we employ qualified Red Seal Millwrights, Machinists, Welders, Fabricators, Iron Workers, Pipefitters, Electricians, Class one drivers, Operators, Heavy-Duty Mechanics, and labourers to fulfill all your construction needs. With our 4.5-acre facility located in Chemainus, B.C. and our .5 acre 5000 sqft shop in Kitimat B.C. we service Vancouver Island, Lower Mainland, Central Interior, Northern, B.C, Alberta, and the Yukon.
Our head office is located on Vancouver Island, with a second office in Kitimat B.C. and one opening shortly in Prince George we are fully able to service all our customers needs.
With our vast range of tradesmen and capabilities we are always looking for new clients and industries to provide our services for and would be eager to bid on any RFQ’s your company has coming up in the future.
